Forever Young

I haven’t written in sooo long; between wrapping up the school year – both mine and Sadie’s, with the typical springtime activities, the blog was the thing I just didn’t get around to.

Proud to say that Sadie had an honor filled year at CMS. All A’s in every course in every quarter being the one I appreciated the most. She also received the Most Improved Server from Coach Gore at the CMS Athletic Banquet. Ironic in that I think it’s the award (if there had been one) she deserved at Classic City Volleyball. She’s looking forward to a summer of camps and travel, with plenty of time at Legion Pool in between.

As for me, I’m still feeling great (forever young and all that) and am about to launch what I hope will be a powerful project for Athens. More on that very soon.

I join in folks all around the world, especially Athens and Atlanta, mourning the loss of Jeff Walls. I’m not sure I’ve ever met anyone with such a positive attitude at all times, including as he dealt with his sudden and fatal illness. Pure class.

Which just goes to show that every person you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind.

Yes, everyone is fighting a battle you know nothing about.
Sounds like you are winning your battle!
