Guns of Umpqua

This post is dedicated to my cousin Mary – it means a lot that you remembered and referenced my 8 track tapes and your “Daddy” – Tom was a special man and he meant the world to me.

Nothing much to report health-wise. Another treatment on Tuesday.

I’m sad to see the turmoil being created in our political world. I started to title this post The Perilous Night, but thought that rather than be bombastic, it would be better to recognize and lament that live shooter drills are the norm in our schools. And that real shootings are happening in our public places with alarming regularity.

The new normal is unacceptable.

It all starts at the top.

Peace,
T

Good luck with your upcoming treatment.

I remember when I was in college (Univ of Colorado) and my dad wrote me a letter stating the world was in a mess. Seems like every once in a while, the world just needs a bit of shaking before it comes back around. Lets hope it is sooner than later.

I can’t fathom all this shooting either. We thought fire alarms were scary.

Keep up the faith. I’m cheering loud!

Best Wishes Tony! I’m happy to know you are responding so well to your treatments. “Keep on keeping on” as we use to say back in the day.
    Love,
